Member Sun Chung Posted August 8, 2021 Member Share Posted August 8, 2021 On one private tracker I just saw The Mystery of Chess Boxing in HD1080p. It's big file but picture is great, unfortunately with burned in subs. They say it's uncut version. Is this official release? Does anyone knows something more about this?

No, that's a fan made custom. There is no official release as of yet. The forthcoming Joseph Kuo box set (Cinematic Vengeance!) from Eureka unfortunately doesn't include it. v Thought you were talking about the custom with the Cantonese audio but the one you're talking about is a WEBrip. Member ShaolinMasterKiller Posted August 27, 2021 Member Share Posted August 27, 2021 The video source likely comes from the print owned by Dan Halsted of the Hollywood Theater in Portland, OR, which can be rented here: https://36cinema.com/programs/collection-mystery-of-chessboxing . He also has a decent copy of Shaolin vs. Wutang, available to rent here: https://36cinema.com/programs/collection-shaolin-vs-wu-tang .
