I don’t know much about this one but it’s coming soon from a company called Massacre Video. Can anyone reveal a little more about this title? Is it worth picking up?

Man, what’s with the explosion of cat III movies. Not complaining, but these are a slightly tougher sale for me. I just saw massacre video is also releasing Men Behind the Sun. I tend to lean more towards the fun category IIIs (thanks 88) but will probably pick these up in case I need to blow someone’s mind

The HK Blu ray was a mess. I wonder if Massacre Video's is just a port of the HK one? There's a composite print going around which used the BD print as the source which fixed the errors & is more explicit. I got a hold of it and it's a major improvement over the HK release. Not to say this movie is any great shakes & it's definitely not worthy of being on any top CAT 3 films list of note but it's a curiosity that a rather obscure film like this got the BD treatment while many more notable and "important" CAT 3 films are languishing in the vaults.

Here's a composite using the BD as the primary source. The scene that repeated itself on the Blu-ray by mistake is now gone, and the 'begging Brother Kuen' scene has been inserted in the correct place from a secondary source with burnt in subtitles. The rape scene of Suen Tong also runs about 20 seconds longer than in the Blu-ray and is more explicit. I re-synced the English subtitles to fit and also corrected any spelling errors. They are optional, in yellow, and positioned above the Chinese hard subs to make them easy to read. Thanks to Stanley Lai for providing me with the subtitle file from the BD. I'm still not 100% sure if this is now completely uncut, but it is certainly more complete than the BD. If anyone that has the Taiwan VHS or Japanese DVD could watch this version and let me know if anything else needs adding in, that would be most appreciated.

They're putting out some good stuff. In 2020 they released the 1981 Taiwan horror flick 'The Devil', which featured more centipedes than you can shake a stick at.

Well at least it's going to be uncensored and fixed up from the shitty HK release. This movie pretty much sucks (at lease Massacre Video got the "ludicrous" part right) especially after getting you hyped with the opening credits scene.
