Yes, like this flim Dragon Fight. It's awaits it's release after many decades doing time in a Warners vault. I got that too. Again it's an upscale from the later 2000's dvd release but has the correct aspect raito with black bars inbetween it.

I had to look on HKMDB about said film. This is a Jet Li movie right? UK title - The Defector

sorry your previous post didn´t show to me. Beg your pardon and thanks. Hope we one day see it on HD...

No, It's fine.  I'm not upset over it.  Site was giving me a hard time a minete ago.  Dragon Fist is suppose to get a German release sometime in the future. I'm not sure who is releasing it or when, but i was told it will be true HD. According to Ken from Podcast on Fire  had  reported on a subject of Dragon Fight. Too bad about Pedicab Driver still stuck with Warners.

I'm not sure what they call Dragon Fight in the UK, I'd assumed it kept it's original english title.  When it was released on VHS by Warners when Lethal Weapon 4 was released in 1998 but then Tai Senng had released it a year later during the same year  Romeo Must Die was released.

Never was too keen on modern setting films of Sammo, but I've aged 20 years and after giving Pedicab Driver my first viewing yesterday, I thought I'd try again with another of Sammo's films.

Just can't get over that bowel cut though 🤣

As for the Executioner, I was drawn to the cover and this would be my first time seeing Sonny Chiba.

Enjoy! Both movies are a hoot, but I think it's important to set the expectation that they're mainly comedies. I always looked at the 2 Executioner movies as director Teruo Ishii's satires of Chiba's 'Streetfighter' flicks.

Oh man, since you are new to Sonny Chiba, check out his Street Fighter movies also. They are awesome.

Anyone with a haircut like Sammo's has to be in a comedy film. More like a colour version of the 3 stoogies.

Just to clarify, I was referring to 'The Executioner' and 'The Executioner II: Karate Inferno', but you're right - the Sammo movie is also a comedy.:tongueout

Oh, the Japanese one is a comedy? An 18 cert comedy? The Japanese are quite strict in some of their films. I've seen some comical tv dramas but never a 70/80' film.

And surprise surprise, it went down about £7 on Amazon the day after I bought it!  If anyone is interested in picking this up but is waiting for a cheap deal keep your eyes on it cos no doubt it will be going for a ridiculous bargain price very soon

Just got this from Amazon! I haven’t watched much of the Arrowverse, but I’ve been wanting to watch the 5-Part Crisis on Infinite Earths special for a while. As far as I know, this is the only way to get all five parts together unless you live in Europe.

Yeah it's £120 on the OS but it's currently £96.74 on Amazon, so it's gone down a bit more since yesterday

I see what you mean. I doubt many people would buy it from Arrow if you could get it for 25 quid off on Amazon.

Bought this as I was recommended to watch it from a member here. Still to this day I have no clue what's it about other than it's a very long film and that everyone rated this movie as superb.

Good selection of films. I've just noticed in the last 6 months of joining this site, my bank balance has gone down significantly. I just want, want, want before they get permanently sold out.
