It shows that they could have been a bit more imaginative when combing the old and new footage. If I was one of the writers, I honestly would have had Steiner killed off quickly by a gun before Billy arrives at the Red Pepper Restaurant. Always thought it would have been good to have Jim kill him while he attempts to kill Billy. That would have allowed for the fight between Bruce and Kareem to be the last in the film.

Yeah its almost like Clouse gave up during the filming of this fight scene. I wonder what Raymond Chow thought of this scene that blatantly shows Kim Tai Chungs face multiple times.

They gave up on the script, too! They just didn’t think it through. I still really like the film but it is disappointing when you can see that it didn’t require much to improve the final product. Most of the film works really well. I loved the disguises. It felt like Billy Lo was the ghost of Bruce Lee haunting his persecutors.
