When 36 Styles revealed one of their latest designs would be bringing the kung fu classic, The Challenger, to the masses, it brought to my attention that – oddly enough, I had not seen this film.
BROKEN OATH is loosely based on the 1973 film LADY SNOWBLOOD. This 1977 Golden Harvest production stars ‘Lady Kung Fu’ Angela Mao as ‘Pure Lotus’ Liu and with the help of some strategically placed scorpions and the kung fu she learned at a Shaolin Monastery for women, she gets her revenge on the men that have done her family wrong.
