When 36 Styles revealed one of their latest designs would be bringing the kung fu classic, The Challenger, to the masses, it brought to my attention that – oddly enough, I had not seen this film.
THE FIVE VENOMS features the most venomous bunch of guys to step foot on a Shaw Brothers studio set as director Chang Cheh assembled “The Poison Clan” and created kung fu gold with THE FIVE DEADLY VENOMS. Chiang Sheng portrays “The 6th Student” who has learned a little of each of the Poison Styles in order to sort out the heroes from the villains!
